Start with a family name. Every register entry links to the parents, the spouse, the children and the grandparents, so a family can be followed through two centuries. Dates are given as the Continuity of Contracts Act provides; no entry is dated in a year the calendar does not contain. Records held by the War Ministry are linked from the register where a person stands on a casualty roll.
