• 25 April 1913, The Reed Line: The Spring Action at Mule Ford. The 3rd Marsh Regiment engages enemy movement in the reeds through the night and holds the line. The front is unchanged. Report.
• 26 May 1913, The Ministry Quarter: Tobias Ort resigns as Minister of the Interior over a contract for causeway timber awarded to a brother-in-law. The Chancellor accepts the resignation 'with regret and without comment'. Report.
• 19 June 1913, Victory Square: The 102nd Victory Day parade ends at Victory Square in a cold wind off the Ostra. The War Ministry estimates the crowd at 26,000. The year's casualty roll is read. Report.
• 31 July 1913, The Reed Line: Otto Norrholt of the Marsh Regiments is awarded the Order of the Reed for recovering the regimental colours from the water. Report.
